Synopsis

As they declared their love for each other, Sarah and Christian were about to be separaated. Christian was tricked into marrying another woman and broken-hearted Sarah accepted a man who gave her wealth and social position in the nineteenth century mill-town where she had known only poverty. But the memory of their love would not die. Christian's success was overshadowed by his aching desire for Sarah, and she was torn between her yearning for him and the secret she dared not reveal. Until finally the smouldering passions of guilt and jealousy exploded in a fiery confrontation with the destiny of their love.
