DEA investigator Samille Broussard has been tasked to look into a series of mysterious illnesses targeting affluent Washington, D.C. teenagers. Her involvement in the high-profile case could take her career to the next level and help her make a name for herself. There's just one problem: She's been teamed up with dark, brooding FBI agent Brant Kincaid, who makes it clear that she lacks the training and experience to handle the dangerous case. Further complicating matters is the fierce attraction that simmers beneath the surface of their adversarial relationship. As Brant and Samille delve into the investigation, they find themselves up against a criminal mastermind bent on destruction.
