Synopsis

The newly orphaned Orina Vandeholt had wealth, beauty and aristocratic blood. Prey to every fortune hunter on both sides of the Atlantic, Orina was forced to flee New York when a suitor's excesses threatened scandal. Yet in Mexico, a terrifying adventure awaited. A mysterious English man known as Juarez, sought Orina's millions for a desperate and noble scheme. When Orina was kidnapped by Mexican riders she thought that it was only a matter of paying her ransom before she would be freed. Instead the young beauty is forced into marriage with their tall and arrogant leader. Deep in the remote Mexican countryside, the local Indians blessed the stranger as their hero.
