Synopsis

Broken promises, renewed faith, enduring love. After six long years in the Englisch world, Solomon Lapp returns to his Amish community carrying the heavy burden of regret. He left without a word—abandoning his parents, his faith, and the woman who once trusted him with her whole heart. Sharon Bachman spent years rebuilding her life after Solomon shattered it. She vowed never to let him hurt her again. But the man who returns is not the boy who ran away. Humbled by loss and determined to make amends, Solomon is willing to work, wait, and prove he has truly changed. Yet forgiveness is never simple, and trust is not easily restored. As faith, community, and long-buried love pull them together once more, Sharon must decide whether some broken promises can truly be mended—and whether love deserves a second chance.
