Synopsis

A Shimmer in Time is a Pride and Prejudice variation set in Pemberley 1812, when Elizabeth Bennet visits Lambton with her relatives the Gardiners. A shimmer of light between two oak trees. One step, and Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy find themselves in 1783, stranded in the past with only each other to rely on. Posing as husband and wife, they must save Pemberley's family from a coming fire and navigate the inconvenient truth of what it feels like to pretend at something that may not be pretence at all.
