No longer mortal and not quite Sidhe, Aisling finds herself caught between two worlds and racing toward Lofgren's rise: a peak in the Fjallnorrian North said to not only hoard the mortals' curse breaker but also the answers Aisling seeks. Across frostbitten feywilds and through enchanted fae kingdoms, Aisling's desire to discover her true self is complicated by the ambitions of those around her. Among them, Dagfin, the Roktan Prince, and his heartfelt duty to protect Aisling. And Lir, the Sidhe King of the Greenwood, equally as obsessed with finding the curse breaker as he is hunting Aisling down. Old and new enemies alike surround the Not-So-Mortal Queen as she draws closer to the truth of who she is. Each motivated by power, by vengeance, and by a single unifying thought: Aisling must stay away from the Sidhe King of the Greenwood lest their true binding breed desolation in this realm and the next.
