"Run, Porcha. I promise… I’ll find you." I said those words with a bullet in my leg and blood filling my mouth, watching her stumble into the dark. Five years ago. One thousand eight hundred twenty-five days. I counted every one. She thinks she ran to save herself. She doesn’t know she ran to save me . I spent those years becoming the monster she deserved: rich, ruthless, powerful. Piercing my body for every year she was gone. Killing everyone who ever hurt her. "Onee-chan," I murmur, going to my knees in the doorway, pressing my face to her legs, inhaling her, wearing the collar she gave me that marks me as hers. “I’ve come for you.” “Good boy! You came back… you kept your promise.” I kneel at her feet, finally where I belong. “Please, reward me.” I beg and she smiles lighting my life pulling me in. She ran to survive. I hunted to serve.
