World-traveler Jasmine has a detour on the journey of life when her children insist it’s time for the retirement home. Why seventy is the age for this pit stop, Jazz doesn’t know; but she does know she’s not ready to be parked. Jasmine begins the transition chafing at her loss of freedom. But soon she meets other handsome, single Jake; Merri, whose children think she murdered their father; Rose and her Alzheimer’s-stricken husband Duke; and Garland, who’s staying there while his wife is in rehab. These fellow seniors have seen a bit of the world, too, and like Jasmine, still wish to experience life to the fullest. With them, Jasmine finds her place at the dining table, where they meet nightly to reminisce about past escapades around the globe—and plan new ones. Because as Jasmine proves, the journey doesn’t have to end in a rocking chair. Even antique models have plenty of miles left, and the road they take might lead to the most unexpected adventure of love.
