Synopsis

Annie: My life isn’t exactly going how I imagined it would. But still, being a thirty-year-old bartender-actress with murky career prospects does have some perks. One, I work with one of my childhood best friends, River, and live within walking distance of the other, Ox, in downtown Los Angeles, so the three of us get to hang out a lot. Two, bartending is legitimately fun, especially if you add in a bar game or two. And three, I make enough money to live on, which is basically unheard of in the bar industry. It all could have been so simple. Except, I accidentally did something I can’t take back. And it’s changed everything. Ox: The game ‘Bar Hopping for Singles’ wasn’t exactly what I had in mind when Annie asked if I was dating anyone. There was just a moment there when I thought she was asking for her. Because she wanted to know. And once the moment passed, I realized that what she said was true. I am wasting my time—just not for the reasons she thinks.
