Shauna is traveling with her diplomat uncle to attend the wedding of Prince Alexis ofTusshar and Princess Ilena of Hanaria. The marriage between the two royals has been arranged for political reason to stop Napoleon Bonapartes from conquering it. It turns out however that princess Ilena is pregnant with another princes children and she is hidden away to present the scandal.Sgauna who looks exactly like Ilena is persuaded by her uncle and by the threat of the imprisonment of her brother Rollo to take the disappeared princess place and marry Alexis of Hanaria.
