Her trip had unexpected results Agronomist Julia Lennox, partner in a high-tech company, was in a small South American country to sell them a badly needed canal system. Her kidnapping by revolutionaries intent on deposing the president was a shock -- as was enduring the company of their leader, the enigmatic Roberto Madariago, an international lawyer trying to stabilize the country. When for her own safety Julia had to pretend to be Roberto's woman, her own reactions frightened her. In spite of all that had happened, Julia knew it was no longer pretence -- she loved him.
