Synopsis
When Dora's mother runs away, her soldier father has no choice but to have his daughter adopted. Raised in Wales, Dora goes to work at a fashionable summer seaside residence on the Isle of Wight. Here she meets Tom, a fisherman, and a fairy tale ending is in sight. First, though, Dora must find her family. As their various fates are revealed, one question remains—is she like the mother who abandoned her so many years ago?
