Synopsis

The lovely Norman lady Lynette has been forcibly abducted by the mysterious Saxon, Edgar of the Moor, wed in secret and carried off to his home in a remote valley. She swears she will never forgive him. Alone at the manor while Edgar attends the court of Prince Henry, Lynette is subjected to hostility both from Edgar's Saxon people and from his uncle's beautiful young widow Johanna. But why, when she is given the chance, does she refuse to leave the valley?
