Synopsis

Kate is a girl in search of an island… a girl on a quest for a legend, who had the imagination and artistry to bring that legend to life. He was a dour Scot - but when a lovely witch flew into his life.... Kate Greenwood was heartbroken when her engagement was broken off. Her almost aimless travels took her to a remote village in Scotland where she met the laird of Finbracken and inauspiciously his son Grant Mackenzie, owners of a castle and an island rich in history and legend. Instinctively Kate responds to its beauty and romance. Here she was inspired to write the story she knew to be the best she had ever produced for television -- but in doing so she was led into a web of intrigue and passion.
