Years ago, Rupert Frost's indiscretion with a lady of dubious virtue made Charlotte Middleton break off their betrothal -- and marry, in fury, an oafish suitor. Now widowed, she is not amused when the still-irresistible Rupert re-enters her life and, bold as brass, asks Charlotte's advice on finding a wife!
