She’s been in the friendzone for years! Maeve James is the Chief Financial Officer for a consulting firm. She’s intelligent, determined, and she’s also the best friend of one of the country’s most eligible bachelors, Seamus McGhee. Seamus is a real estate mogul who regularly enjoys the company of beautiful women. The two share everything, including a dog. He doesn’t hesitate to share his wild adventures with his best friend either. Seamus’ stories make it difficult for virginal Maeve to keep her vow of abstinence. When Maeve falls ill, Seamus realizes he has feelings for her. This gives her the confidence to finally express how she feels for him, as well, but it’s too late. After learning about Maeve’s love for him, Seamus ghosts her for three months. At the behest of his new fiancée, Chelsey Robinson, Seamus calls to ask for a favor. He wants Maeve to be the Best Woman at his wedding. She must now grapple with her unrequited love for Seamus while also performing her Best Woman duties. At the urging of their friends, Seamus and Maeve decide to talk things out. Maeve has other plans. After a hot night together, Seamus postpones his wedding. Will they ever be more than friends?
