Synopsis
The true-life love story of the Emperor Vespasian and the freedwoman Antonia Caenis. Despite a twenty-year hiatus, during which Vespasian married a woman of status and fathered the two future Emperors Titus and Domitian and a daughter, Domitillia, the love of Vespasian and Caenis endured until her death after he became emperor.
