Synopsis

When Roslyn Brant, flying out to North Africa to meet her fiancé Armand Gerard, lost her memory in the plane crash that killed Armand, his family took her into their home on the edge of the Sahara until she found herself again. Armand’s grandmother and his brother Tristan were kindness itself – but his cousin Duane Hunter was another matter! ‘In many respects,’ he told her, ‘the desert is like a woman. Anything might crop up…as in a relationship with a woman. But a man can enjoy the desert without getting involved – emotionally.’ Roslyn knew that he was making it plain that there was no room for her in his life. Then she realised that Duane was trying to tell her something else too – he did not believe she was Roslyn Brant at all.
