Synopsis

In Crown & Thorns, the final book in The Realm series, King William has more to worry about than the religious tension in his own lands. His country has unwittingly been made a pawn in the vast European fight for land, power, and religious freedom, and many think his cousin, the Duke of Norwick, would make a more decisive king. Especially sine Queen Annelore has still not conceived a son and heir. And as the threat of invasion and civil war grow, she will have to make a decision that could very well break her heart. When friends become enemies and enemies wield incredible power, will the kingdom of Troixden--and William and Anna's marriage--survive?
