You should never make a bargain with a fae darkyra. For Amaya Mevson this wouldn't be her first or even second bargain she entered into with the shadow wielder. But with her best friend being held at a research center overseas, she has no choice but to accept when Sebastian promises to save her friend in exchange for pretending to be his fiancée. Her world becomes twisted when she has to hide her own shadow powers or risk being the next high priestess taken to the research center. But when the only way to deflect attention from her powers also involves losing a piece of herself, she finds herself lost in despair unable to find her way out of the abyss. Amaya is forced to realize when darkness surrounds you and there's no light in sight, the only choice left is to descend into the void.
