Synopsis

Seventeen year old Ellen is trying to keep her family apple farm going after her father died. Her mother and sister aren't interested and would rather sell the farm and move to town. The only farmhand is a diabetic man in his seventies. This story is about relationships, growing up, and accepting change. I didn't really care for it, probably because it made me sad and it's written at the teen level. Might be a thought-provoking book for a teenager.
