Synopsis

Egypt, 1948. After months of separation, Jenny Ellison and Dr. Daniel Carter have secured the a summer working together in Egypt. Their reunion is pure bliss, but the challenges ahead are formidable. Daniel has lost his position as director of the Abu Simbel site, and the new director is openly hostile to the young lovers. They take up their duties, yet struggle under an enormous secret. Daniel and Jenny know an ancient tomb is hidden beneath the temple. Who they can trust with that information is less certain. The workers around them are not all they seem, and the more Daniel and Jenny search for the temple’s treasure, the more dangerous life at camp becomes. Through it all, Jenny and Daniel must navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving love. In searching out mysteries of the past, they just might learn a few truths of their present – and that no treasure is worth losing each other.
