Synopsis

Most romance novels end at the altar, but Lillian's story starts at one. On paper, it’s a match made in heaven and a golden opportunity for more business. However, the arranged union is not starting off sweet. James Peter Clark is intimidating and does not hold back his contempt for her. To him, she is nothing but a necessity for his rise to the top. Lillian knows she is trapped, but as much as she wants to hate him, their daily proximity makes her feel things she has never felt before.
