A revised and improved third edition of the romantic, Regency-set, literary drama, Evenside; a novel in the literary project by Pembury Publishing. When beautiful Anne Graham refuses her cousin's offer of marriage to stay with her selfish father, she has no idea that short time later, she will meet her ideal partner. However, James Vincent's perfection rapidly begins to crumble and she has to battle against his considerable attractions. To help her resist him, she has Robert Butler, a man of strong character, and Arthur Morris, a close friend. While the two men vie for her attention, Anne becomes very fond of James, but is torn by his lack of morality. She warns him about his behaviour and has to stop him causing harm to a friend's reputation. He resents it and they quarrel violently. It seems Anne will never see James again, but an invitation from an aristocratic relative and the news Arthur is dying changes everything.
