Synopsis

Toting an unruly fetus and newly married to a stranger with phenomenal psychic powers, investigative journalist Veronica Bryson-Laquette buckles to her sixth sense to investigate the accidental death of a realtor. Unwittingly, she tries to thwart her efforts to spare her unborn child from the travesties of her former profession—to no avail. Her “antique shopping spree” leads her through a series of tangled coincidences in a small college town, and she senses her husband controlling her path from afar. Whether the dark visions seep from her husband or her unborn child, the images are too lifelike. And she’s seen Jade die once too often while . . . Images from the past twine with wicked visions from the future, leading Jade closer to the darkness as his precognitions threaten the life of his wife and unborn child. To save them and safeguard them, he accepts the manipulations of his nemesis in the FBI, and under the auspices of assisting in the search for a serial killer dubbed “The Taxidermist,” he’s drawn into a game of cat and mouse with an unknown entity. A madman in Cleveland, Ohio, and an eighteen-year-old murder in the Nation’s Capital, however, might share a common factor that could lead to Nazi Germany . . . and the end of Jade’s life as he knows it.
