Was it a matter of dog in the manger? Alexandra resented Dominic Tempest's interference. Even if he was her sister's brother-in-law, he had a nerve saying she was too young to marry Roger! Especially when Dominic himself clearly noticed that the kid he'd known for years was becoming Alexandra, the woman. Alexandra soon decided that her feelings for Dominic were stronger than any she had for Roger. But when Dominic returned from abroad, it was another woman, obviously his mistress, who ran into his arms--in front of TV cameras! Suddenly Alexandra realized she was out of her league.
