When his manager and band mates insisted he needed some R&R, Loch Mackenzie, lead singer of successful rock band The Oath, reluctantly agreed. He wanted to feel like himself again. He wanted not to remember his dead sister’s body every time he closed his eyes. He did not want to spend a month of his summer in a small bed and breakfast in the south. That changed when he saw the sweet chaos of Hailey Prescott sprawled on her kitchen floor. Hailey Prescott deliberately built her life around her business. She had no intention of falling in love and having a family. Her two best friends were all the family she needed. But she liked being around people, so running a Bed and Breakfast made perfect sense.
