Synopsis

Step into a world of magic, intrigue, and betrayal where no one is safe. This dark academia mystery reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice will keep you guessing page after page . With the banishment spell protecting them for the time being, Eden, Mariah, and Melissa Dartwood find themselves embroiled in the midst of the magical community’s political reform. With their parents now out of the picture, Eden and Evan are next in line for Speaker positions in the Council, but the path is not as simple as it seems. In order to become active voting members of the Council, they will have to pass magical trials to prove themselves worthy or become lame duck Council members unable to vote on any motion made for the rest of their lives. While Eden and Evan are trying to earn the right to vote on an amendment that could change the magical community forever, Mariah and Melissa are starting school at Dartwood University. Knee deep in a world they know next to nothing about, they must try to master their powers before their enemies return, but danger is closer than they can imagine. Students at the school are going missing and the Dartwood sisters will have to solve the mystery before chaos erupts at the magical capital. With the help of old friends and new friends alike, will they be able to navigate their challenges and stop the threat? Each of the three sisters had distinct personalities, as did Baden and Evan, and I enjoyed watching them work together to uncover the
