Synopsis

Smith may no longer be the merciless operative she was forced to become after being kidnapped as a young girl, but after living on the run for three years from her abusive former employer, it's time for her to stop running and stop him for good. And that means making sure one of his remaining operatives finds her first. West doesn't know anything about the woman he's been ordered to kill, except that she's a threat that needs to be eliminated at all costs. But after failing to kill her, he soon realizes they hold more commonalities than differences, including a determination to stop his employer from doing the unthinkable. Grappling with the demons of their pasts and unfamiliar emotions forbidden to them both their whole lives, Smith and West will have to trust each other while staying one step ahead to stay alive. And when the line between mission and desire blurs, a force stronger than fear or vengeance will keep them going on the dark path they must navigate together.
