After her husband's death, Karen returns to her childhood home. But she wonders if the decision to return had been her own, or someone else's - the woman's figure seen in the nearby ruined Abbey who vanishes, and reappears in Karen's paintings. Was it her imagination? Or a bizarre reincarnation?
