Synopsis

Cass is taken aback to find Dray Carlisle on her doorstep three years after their short intense affair had ended. But he was bringing her the news that her sister, married to his brother Tom, had died in childbirth, leaving her newborn baby without a mother. Tom was refusing to care for the child. Could Cass help out until the family sorted out this tragedy? Cass doesn’t know why she gets involved, she was determined to stay away from Dray, and bewildered as she learns more about how her self-absorbed sister had manipulated her and the Carlisles over the years. But her niece needs her, and as it turns out, so does Dray.
