Trapped! Kate Croston thought she had escaped Charles Manningham when she fled over the seas from England to America. She tried to forget the time when she was foolish enough to love this handsome aristocrat -- before she came to know the evil that possessed him. But now, in the isolated New England mansion of Penrose, Kate saw that her flight had been in vain.
