Synopsis
Remedy Worthy is barely surviving. With the heaviness of her past weighing on her, she’s attempting to swim against life’s current. However, the task seems nearly impossible. It’s not until her elderly neighbor becomes her best friend. Now with someone to encourage her to keep swimming, she’s unaware that being Mr. Ernie’s one and only friend will be the answer to prayers she forgot she prayed. Erys Moore has been the reaper of death for fifteen years of his life. Now with retirement at the front of his mind, he’s beaconed back to Waynesville by an old friend. But his return is welcomed with a disturbing voicemail from his father. What he walks into is something he quickly realizes he’s unequipped for. Not of a man of vast emotions, he’s being undone from the inside out. When this unlikely pair joins forces, the question lingers – can this be the remedy for every wound or will it end in tragedy?
