Devon King is the kind of billionaire who can buy silence, control headlines, and make any problem disappear. I’m currently his nanny, and I’m working under a fake name… And tonight the internet exposed who I really am. I came into his world with nothing but a suitcase, a story, and a name that wasn’t mine. I told myself I was there to take care of his daughter, and keep my heart out of it. But then he started trusting me with bedtime stories, and the parts of himself the cameras never see. Last week, during a family dinner, his daughter accidentally called me her mom and the whole table went silent. Tonight, some tabloid leaked my real name and face, and the article showed up on his phone. He held the screen up in front of me, and his eyes went cold. “Is it true,” he asked, voice low and tight, “that you’re not who you say you are?” He took one step closer and growled, “You lied your way into my home, into my life...
