Synopsis

In 1867, New York City's high society conceals a web of crime. Raised by criminal mastermind Helen Scarborro, Hyacinth survives the collapse of their elite gang, barely escaping with her life. Wealthy banker Irvine Westchester, on a drunken whim, has composed an advertisement for a bride, which he mailed and then promptly forgot. Hyacinth answers his letter, but when he tries to refuse, her fabricated tales of hardship lead to a hasty marriage. However, when Helen returns demanding Hyacinth's involvement in a daring heist, she finds herself trapped. Hyacinth must choose between revealing her secret, risking her marriage, and facing the destructive consequences of her past. Her choice unfolds in the captivating story of "Hyacinth's Secret".
