Synopsis

Marriage to a stranger? Pretty Nicola Boyd thought she was the luckiest girl in the world, she had everything a young woman could possibly ask for. She had beauty, charm - and she was a intelligent and capable business woman with a successful career running her own thriving beauty salon. But best of all, she was passionately loved by Denis Avon. Denis was a rising young actor, and so handsome that he was the pin-up of all the girls in the neighbourhood. In the heady whirl of a tempestuous courtship, Nicola was unable to refuse his dashing proposal of marriage, even though it came only a couple of months after they first met. Who could blame her for being swept off her feet - for planning to marry the seductive suitor? But, the tragedy that lay ahead for Nicola was not surprising - at least, not to those who knew Denis Avon well...
