Sister Alanna Curtis's world turned upside down after deeply upsetting personal problems. The only answer was to leave St Dominic's A & E Department, and she was fortunate to get the job of Practice Nurse to Dr John Trent in Cornwall. Given West Country distances, John's obsession was to create Ambulance Units fully fitted for trauma care after accidents.
