Disaster had struck. And for once in their lives, impulsive Paula Stewart and straitlaced Alex Hamilton agreed on something: the situation was no laughing matter. Their fathers' legendary comedy act had split up, leaving both quip masters silent and sullen, and drastic measures were called for to reunite the parental pair. Feigning infatuation was drastic, indeed, since Paula and Alex had raised antagonism to an art.
