When Lysette Dupont decides to help her grandfather restore his old windmill on Ile d'Oreon off the west coast of France, she doesn't want to get sidetracked into pursuing a deepening interest in bohemian artist Xavier Monsigny. He has planned to spend time painting on the island, but intrigue and danger draw them into a summer romance.
