When a beloved member of a small, tight-knit community on the Kohala Coast turns up dead, Summer Jenkins, part-time investigative assistant at her dad's P.I. firm is enlisted to prove it was murder. The problem? HPD is calling it accidental and the people who might know something aren't talking. The last time Mack Davis saw Otis Peaks alive he warned Mack that something fishy was going on at the harbor. A week later Otis's body is spotted by a fisherman not far from the harbor's main dock. HPD calls it an accidental drowning, despite evidence it was anything but. Mack hires Summer and Lani to investigate; he's convinced whatever Otis found led to his death. Their investigation seems to lead to more questions than answers, and they start to notice everyone seems to be hiding something. When an accident nearly turns deadly, Summer and Lani get pulled off the investigation. Rather than let that stop them, they dig in and uncover clues that lead them straight to the murderer. But with the murderer watching their every move, will they be able find him before he silences their questions- for good?
