A young debutante's chance visit to a United States Naval Academy graduation as the blind date of a handsome midshipman results in dramatic changes in her life. The ensuing events bring her to a farm in Virginia's horse country and to the exciting world of thoroughbred racehorses. About the Author: The author spent over two decades in the Thoroughbred Horse Business, as K.K. Farm, breeding and selling yearlings and winning races at both Bay Meadows and Golden Gate fields in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was the managing co-owner with her husband, Dr. Mervyn Kipnis, of the Portola Valley Thoroughbred Training Center, Inc., located at Stanford University. The author and her husband brought the first Two-year-old in Training Sale to Northern California. She is currently writing another love story, her memoir of life with her husband.
