I thought having my dashing fiancé and my bubbly bestie with me during the most exciting time of my life would be a dream—too bad it turned into a nightmare. I’ve dedicated every waking moment in my life to dance. Over the past few years, my fiancé and I have won countless competitions and climbed the ranks until we became the couple to beat. I’d always felt like the hours we spent training together had brought us closer. An invite to a reality TV dance competition is a dream come true; and the prize money would help me to achieve the goal I’ve spent my life working toward—owning my own studio. When my childhood bestie, Salli, and her dance partner are invited as well, I couldn’t have been happier.
