Synopsis

Fay Weldon mines the fields of sexuality, procreation, and astronomy in her liberating novel about the ongoing quest for self-fulfillment Sandra Harris—wife, astronomer (known for discovering the planet Athena), television phenomenon, and "professional searcher after truth"—has had an epiphany.
