Synopsis

This is the story of Deborah Matson and her tragic succession of ill fated loves. Deborah’s passions hit new heights after meeting Brian Hayne. She is totally in love with him and he arouses in her feelings the existence of which she had previously been totally unaware of. Then, just as she discovers his secret - he is married - she finds herself pregnant with his child. Facing a lonely existence, with many uncertainties, Deborah’s future suddenly looks brighter when Uan Palisser enters her life. A rich man who could give her everything would ordinarily be what a woman in her position would crave, but he cannot give her what she really wants…and fate still plays unkind tricks on her. She eventually meets Adrian Penarth and fells in love, but she cannot be with Adrian unless he knows the full truth of her life, Deborah retires to a convent to write her life story and posts it on to him.
