Synopsis
Fran and Rodney Gifford's marriage is drifting slowly but surely towards the rocks since the death of their baby daughter. Their disagreements - once settled with love and understanding-are flaring into mayor quarrels. And their sensitive schoolboy son Peter was conscious of the rift between them. Then Rod fell desperately in love with Perdita, a brilliant and beautiful young science student who was as cool and analytical over her passion as she was with the computer she worked.
