Synopsis

Jeanette yearns for love, a greater purpose to her life, and most of all, adventure… But when it finds her, she hadn’t imagined it would be her life on the line. Rose Manor has been abandoned for as long as Jeanette can remember. Never truly fitting in among the people of Mapleshire, she is stuck in her mundane life until an evil sorcerer captures her. He has the wrong girl, she’s sure of it, but then she finds something that belonged to her mother. In the midst of despair, an unexpected ally emerges– a handsome servant named Hugh, who has more to him than meets the eye. He harbors secrets of his own that he can't share without suffering horrific punishment. In all his years of servitude, he only dreams of breaking free and fulfilling his destiny. Now Jeanette must face her past and summon the power inside herself or they’ll both face inescapable doom.
