Synopsis

When Diana's socially prominent and universally hated aunt is murdered, she is blamed... Everyone had a grudge against Aunt Lela. Diana Parnell's socially prominent and universally hated aunt is murdered. There are lots of suspects. But then the police find out Diana is the main beneficiary of the will, and she can't prove where she was just before the murder. When she decides to investigate on her own, she is aided by Cajun Louis Breaux, a writer who happens to be an ex-cop. There is another murder and an attempt on Diana's life - and still the pieces of the puzzle refuse to fit. Time is running out - either she will be arrested or the murderer will try to kill her again. And this time he might succeed!
