Synopsis

When Brett Morgan, the man she loved broke off their affair and walked out on her, Penny Winn thought that her broken heart would never recover. But the Second World War takes her to the Mediterranean where she burying her grief in her work. She meets ill Wing-Commander Timothy Curtis and she becomes his wife. Everyone believes he is on his death-bed, but Tim unexpectedly recovers and got better. Then Penny's old flame Brett reappears in her life. Isn't that always typical of men?
