Synopsis

She crossed an ocean to find peace, she never expected to find him. After heartbreak and burnout, Sarah Calvin moves to the Scottish Highlands in search of a slower pace, a fresh start, maybe even a dog. Romance? Absolutely not on the list. But then there’s Liam MacKay, a grumpy, maddeningly attractive, and always showing up at the exact wrong (or right?) moment. He’s everything she swore she didn’t need… and everything she’s been missing. What begins as a wild misunderstanding turns into something deeper, an undeniable pull neither of them can ignore. But Sarah didn’t come here to fall in love, and Liam’s walls are built high for a reason. When tragedy strikes and buried traumas resurface, Sarah must Is it safer to stay guarded… or to risk everything for a love she never saw coming? Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Loch Ness and the Highlands, this emotionally rich, character-driven romance is about healing, chosen family, second chances, and the quiet kind of love that rebuilds what’s been broken. They weren’t looking for perfection. They found peace.
