When Lian Shu arrives at the beloved Valentino Inn in Pacific Grove, California, she discovers the iconic place that kickstarted her travel writing career thirty years ago has changed, including the little boy who brought her flowers. Roman Valentino is all grown up, but he still remembers his childhood crush on Lian. In his heart, he always believed she would return to the inn. He just didn’t think it would be the week before he listed the property for sale. How can Lian revive her career when the anniversary story she intended to write about the inn doesn’t exist?
